Past Life Regressions

Past Life Regressions

  • Anyone can experience a past life session, regardless of whether or not you “believe” in past lives.  The issue of past lives is a profoundly spiritual question. The direct experiences from a session can provide answers to deep personal and spiritual questions.
  • The subconscious mind holds a perfect record of everything that you have experienced, exactly as you have experienced it.
  • Past life regressions may release the subconscious scars of ancient traumas or they may be simply interesting insights into other times, personal relationships, and lessons learned.
  • Within the deep level of the mind of each of us, there exists a level of wisdom and insight far surpassing that available in our usual state of consciousness. Hypnosis accesses this wisdom, by bypassing the conscious thinking mind.
  • You do not have to believe in past lives for past life therapy to have an extremely beneficial effect on your life. Many of my clients did not have a prior belief in reincarnation, yet they still gained immense value from this therapy. Oftentimes, my clients that experienced the most powerful past life regressions were not the true believers who came to me seeking to see who they were in a past life, but average people seeking solutions to their problems. When in the hypnotic trance, I direct the subconscious mind of my client to find the root of their issue, often resulting in the client re-experiencing an apparent past life.  Even issues that at first glance seem obviously rooted in early childhood experiences of this lifetime, usually have karmic ties to actions of other lifetimes.  Seeing the multidimensional aspect of beings from the greater perspective of the soul allows us to finally let go of painful experiences and destructive patterns from the distant past that have continued to scar our beings and hamper our performance and enjoyment of this life.
  • Past life therapy is more than just an interesting sideshow experience. It is effective therapy that often works faster and better than traditional talk therapy. Many emotional and physical problems are resolved quickly and permanently through past life regressions, usually in far fewer sessions than with conventional therapy. World famous psychiatrist, Brian Weiss, M.D., a graduate of Columbia University and Yale Medical School, and curent Chairman Emeritus of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, has found this therapy so effective, that he has pretty much replaced talk therapy with hypnotherapy in his private practice. Using past life therapy, Dr. Weiss was able to rapidly improve the conditions of more than 2/3 of a group of long-term psychotherapy patients that had failed to heal with traditional methods.  If interested, go to Opra.com  [http://www.oprah.com/slideshow/oprahshow/20080624_tows_lifelongfears] to witness an actual past life regression with Dr. Weiss.
  • Weight issues can be rooted in past life experiences, as can any addiction or imbalance. Chronic illnesses are often rooted in past life experiences, and those who suffer from chronic illness may find great relief, and sometimes complete healing through the proper application of regression therapy.

Weight issues are often rooted in past life experiences. For example, Maria had struggled all her life with an extra thirty pounds of weight that just wouldn’t come off, no matter how long she dieted or exercised. Rather than simply using hypnosis to “program” her subconscious mind to loose weight, which tends to loose effectiveness over time, I directed her mind to return to the source of her problem that we might understand in a deeper way why she had such a struggle with food. Maria’s breathing accelerated and she began to perspire as she experienced the ending scenes of a former lifetime.  In this life, she “saw” herself searching for bugs, insects, and roots –anything that she might consume. Her belly was swollen, but her arms and legs were like sticks. She was the last survivor of her village, surrounded by the dead and rotting bodies of other villagers who had already succumbed to starvation. As she passed from that life into the light, her soul made the decision, “I will never be hungry again! I will never allow myself to starve. It’s so painful and takes such a long time to die that way.”

Maria now understood that the unprocessed trauma of that previous lifetime was still affecting her behavior in a negative way. After completely processing and releasing the traumatic events of that lifetime, she was able to loose the extra thirty pounds and has kept it off for the two years since therapy ended. I find that past life therapy is an excellent adjunct to any weight loss program. Roughly 95% of those who lose weight through dieting will gain it back again. Those who loose weight by going to the emotional source of the problem, which is often buried in a past life, are usually able to keep it off for good.

I find that relationship issues are often rooted in past life experiences. One client had been a ruler in a past life and had signed a contract in “blood” that he would remain passionless and unfeeling that he might better judge his people without being clouded by his emotions. From a soul perspective, he saw that this contract was no longer appropriate and was adversely effecting his ability to love, feel and enjoy his relationship in this life. In trance, he “burned” his contract and was able to restore his feeling/emotional side. Often times, unresolved anger and bitterness from one lifetime results in drawing us to the same souls, now born as family members, business associates, or mates, so that we might work out our unfinished problems. When we are consciously able to re-experience the past life setup for the unpleasant situations in our current life, we are often able to process and release the past so we might consciously create the future that we want. (Do you have another case history for relationships?). In my husband’s case, it was very easy for him to blame a lot of his “stuff” on a very dysfunctional and abusive mother. Under hypnosis, he saw a past life connection with his mother and also saw that his soul had chosen his mother for this life to provide emotional pain and suffering that would help him to develop more compassion.

I had a client who was suffering from severe debilitating arthritis in both of her knees. Every morning, upon awakening, she had to massage her knees for ten minutes before she was able to walk across the room to relieve herself. While in the hypnotic trance, she was directed to view the source of this physical issue. What she “saw” was totally unexpected. A scene unfolded where this client viewed herself as a Native American male warrior on a battlefield. The warrior had been entrusted with the protection of his younger brother during a battle with a neighboring tribe. As the battle progressed, this warrior was engaged in a life-and-death struggle with two of the opposing tribe’s warriors, and was unable to break free to assist the younger brother in a similar struggle. In that former life as a Native American warrior, he was able to subdue his assailants, but alas, the younger brother was not so lucky and lay dead on this ancient field.  Agonizing over the death of his sibling, the warrior raised his battle axe and brought the chiseled stone head crashing down upon first one kneecap, then the other. For the rest of his life, each step became a painful reminder of his failure to save his younger brother’s life.

After viewing this incident from the detached perspective of the soul, the client was able to release this ancient guilt and her chronic illness radically improved. In both the Hindu and Buddhist traditions, soul imprints from other lives are often referred to as “sanskaras”. When these imprints are from particularly traumatic experiences, they may leave such a scar on a being that they result in a chronic illness at a later date, and hypnosis may be successful at accessing and releasing these imprints such that the client recovers from an illness that was previously not responding to medical treatment. Of course, to the client it makes little difference whether they truly saw a past life, or if the subconscious mind simple fabricated an appropriate healing metaphor. All they care about is an end to their suffering and ill health.
